100% Stoneground Wholemeal Flour
100% Stoneground Wholemeal Flour
Milled in Alton Watermill at the Food Museum. Our 100% wholemeal flour is traditionally stoneground at the Museum using whole wheat grain. It is milled in our 18th-century watermill.
The Food Museum is a 75-acre estate with 17 historic buildings, animals, meadows, gardens, river and a collection of over 400,000 objects.
Through exhibitions, activities, events and programmes, we seek to connect visitors with where their food comes from and the communities that grow and make it. The museum is located in East Anglia, known as 'Britain's Breadbasket'.
By buying our flour you can help us to care for our 18th-century watermill.
Our Alton Watermill Flour is milled from Flanders wheat, which is grown by Jeremy Dickin at Oak Farm in Lincolnshire and supplied to the museum through Hodmedod's in Norfolk.
